In any case... I (we) are back from the West coast. Arrived Thursday night to find our car had been vandalized. By the time the authorities were contacted, all the reports were filed and we got a taxi ride home it was almost 4am... on the 4th of July. Try to get anything done on the 4th!... lotsa luck. In any case, I (we) now have a rental car courtesy of the insurance company. It may be a few days until I'm able to get caught up and back to writing... if anyone cares...

I hope this will be as good a time as any to offer a word of encouragement and to say a massive 'Thankyou' for an incredible blog.
I have read every entry from the beginning (some posts, several times, for obvious reasons - Ahem). I look forward to reading each new post with anticipation, irrespective of its content.
I too am fascinated by panties (well, ok, all women's underwear) and the women who wear them. My interest began as a child as I ended up spending more time in the company of women than men (my father worked long hours on the gold mines). After completing my National Service (army) and getting a job as a trainee manager for a clothing chain, this interest was fueled when I was required to complete a course in retail corsetry as part of my training program. Being the only male on the course naturally did not endear me to the other course delegates and I managed to worsen the situation by coming first in the examination.
I shan't bore you with all my gory details, but I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed reading your blog...not only for the most enjoyable (and often exciting) experiences with the ladies and their undies, but your depiction of life in the America of old. Through your most capable and engaging writing, I have gained an increasing interest in the sports and pastimes of American blokes, as well as the foibles and complexities of relationships within inter and intra-family life.
Married life presents its own opportunities, challenges and constraints (my wife would view a gift of pretty panties with deep suspicion as her preferences are tragically for the more functional and less aesthetically pleasing garments). In addition, it is with some disappointment that we males of a certain age observe the changes in fashions towards those abominations of female undergarments, to wit, the thong or G-String - a personal opinion mind you. Thus it is that many of us, I am sure, find profound enjoyment in reading your wonderful recollections of pretty, alluring and titillating panties of yesteryear.
Please don't stop writing - here is one bloke, albeit far away, who enjoys your writing enormously.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune and the death of Elles room mate. Had to be away myself for a couple of weeks and just returned. I hope you don't stop posting as you have the only blog on that I read and find enjoyable. Your writing is a pleasure and a testament to the education of the 50's and60's. I am always astounded by the stuff most of the people put on the net. You have one loyal fan in me and if you keep writing I shall keep reading and posting my appreciation of your efforts.
