Update #4
What a month!!!
We are living in our new "digs" but far, far from settled. The closing on the old house took place yesterday but what an experience to get to that point. It came VERY close to not happening at all. Long story short... when I paid off the mortgage, some 17 years ago, the bank that held the mortgage never recorded it so when they were doing the title search the old mortgage showed up as being unpaid. It would take me an hour to tell you what took place to get it resolved... but it was with only hours to go before settlement. Briefly, the original bank that I got the mortgage from sold it to another bank who then merged with another bank who then merged with yet another bank. Somewhere, over the course of time, the records for my loan got lost. To start with, I'd like to have back time I spent on trying to prove that I'd paid the loan. That was time I desperately needed to pack up our things and get moved but that all had to wait. Needless to say there was no time for writing during that ordeal. Now I'm faced with sorting though all the hastily packed boxes trying to find things... so it'll be a little longer until I can get back to writing... but I will! For those of you who still stop by... THANKS!!!

the worst is over, now the fun part of finding a place for all the things you thought you couldn't live without. You will soon find you will want to get rid of more.
I will be here when you get time to write.
