Time out for Santa...

Time out for Santa...

For the first time in over 25 years we’ll be in our own bed on Christmas eve. For all of those years we would travel to our kids homes. Never once did they come to our house using the excuse that their kids needed to spend Christmas at their own homes. Now the grandkids are grown and have Christmas plans of their own. So, we decided to stay put and enjoy a quiet, travel free holiday. But... surprise! One daughter decided to come visit us and we’re really pleased. She arrives this afternoon so we’ll be busy throughout the weekend. That leads me to offer you, the readers of this tome, all the best wishes for a Happy Holiday. Hopefully all, or at least some of you, will be with some members of your family and you’ll be able to share warm and loving time with them.

To set the mood I’ve chosen a few pictures that fit the season... :-)

From a Christmas in the past. Enjoy...

Greetings to PM, Mrs PM and the family,
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas time and may you all enjoy a deeply happy, peaceful, safe, healthy 2016. You guys remain on our prayer list for the health of your daughter and we hope she will enjoy good health now and in the years to come.

Thank you for your captivating and well written insight to your family life as well as life in the USA - not to mention our favorite 'other subject'.

Best wishes
Lurker

To BS, OB and Lurker... Thanks for the comments. It is appreciated and nice to know there are people reading the posts. BTW: It was a very enjoyable Christmas for the three of us. The daughter who's been having "problems" is doing well and has adjusted to her new way of life. When we call she opens with "I'm alive!" and for that we're very thankful.

Thanks also for the "seasonal" pics... we just would have Van Fairs here, but those have that lovely look!
