Breaking news... Update #1

Breaking news... Update #1

Actually, the surgery to implant the VLAD pump into our daughter's chest went better than expected. We were told it would be six hours but could take up to ten. It took only five! When the surgeon met with U.S. he said it was "boring" to him meaning it was " textbook". We got to see her for a few minutes and saw her blink her eyes and to squeeze our fingers. That was a big relief. They wanted her to sleep so we were only there for about ten minutes. Their goal is to have her up and in a chair for a bit tomorrow. They have a real aggressive schedule for her. ONWARD!

Squeeze the fingers, something we all remember of our kids. They never grow up in our minds, away maybe, but they always remain children in that special spot.
All my wishes for a speedy and complete recovery, take care of yourself and your family.
