Breaking news... Update #5
The transfer took place yesterday. It wasn't without a hitch though. LOC... Lack of communication. The rehab facility wasn't ready for her when she arrived so they had to hustle to find her a bed. She ended up with an old style bed with limited controls. It took from 4:30pm to 7pm to get her settled which didn't help her frame of mind. When we left last night (about 10pm) she was still upset. When we arrived today she wasn't bad. Her roommate managed to calm her down a bit and she hit it off with her night nurse. In talking to her nurse today she told us that new patients often have a period of adjustment. In our daughter's case, her arrival as a weekend was about to begin was not the best thing as her therapy routine won't begin until Monday allowing her mind to conjure up all kinds of doubts. I hope she's right.
I have to return home to take care of some business. I haven't decided if it will be Monday or Tuesday so it'll be a few days until I post again. In the meantime, many thanks for all the support.

sounds like good news is coming your way. you all have my best wishes for as good of a recovery as can be with hardware in her chest. nobody should ever have to check into any medical facility on a weekend. all action ceases, as i am sure you know, but that does not make it ant easier to take. again best wishes and safe travels. the updates are much appreciated. she has all of your internet friends pulling for her.
There's always a snag somewhere, right PM?! I'm sure things will be going better.
